Postdoctoral fellow, Francesca Feo, is chairing the panel "Gender penalties in political representation: intersectional perspectives".

Professor Ragnhild Muriaas, University of Bergen and Associate Professor Christina Fiig, Aarhus University, will chair Panel 22. Gender, Politics and Democracy at the NOPSA-conference in Bergen, June 2024.

In relation to the visit from Professor Hilde Coffé, SUCCESS is hosting a one-day workshop with presenters from Department of Government, Department of Comparative Politics and CMI.

Dr Francesca Feo (Bergen University) will participate in the workshop "Italian Politics 2023" organized by Istituto Carlo Cattaneo, Johns Hopkins University SAIS Europe, and Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies, European University Institute.

Francesca Feo acts as chair and discussant in the panel "Gender and political careers. Gendering perspectives on access and endurance in politics". Feo also presents the paper "The role of sexist attitudes and gender in the electoral success of the Italian far-right" (co-author: Manuela Caiani)

Francesca Feo participates in a panel discussion by the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung in Berlin, titled "Antifeminism Beyond Borders", to talk about the potential role of antifeminism in the success of the Radical Right in Europe.
